Introducing ScrollWise: Your Research, Searchable and Queryable
We're building a new way to organize, search, and query your research. Stop losing your research in scattered bookmarks and notes. Start using it.
I have a problem. My doctor says it’s ADHD, my therapist says it’s chronic online-ism and ADHD, and they’re both probably right, but I have a more positive spin on it: I really like research.
Over the years, I’ve researched social media movements, political extremism, cyber security, the history of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, woodworking, blacksmithing… yeah it’s probably ADHD. But it’s also fun.
Maybe you’re like me. Maybe you’re not and you think I’m kinda weird: blacksmithing and the Chinese PLA? What the hell?
Regardless, I’m betting you’ve run into the same problems. Bookmarks everywhere. A disorganized Obsidian vault or Notion workspace full of notes you can’t find and hardly use. Thirty .txt files in your Desktop under the ‘/random/’ folder.
You’ve done all this research work, and you have very little to show for it because it’s so disorganized!
Let me walk you through the solution.
The ScrollWise AI Solution
AI is kind of a big deal, huh? If you haven’t been living under a rock for the last decade, you’ve at least come across ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. If you’re a software developer, you’ve probably used Claude Code or Cursor. If you’re not, you probably touch grass, but you’ve at least chatted with some of the AI sites to get recipes, learn more about topics that interest you, etc.
The problem is, these models oftentimes reference outdated data. They can access the web, but a lot of times it’s like skimming the top couple results on Google Search. If you’re an expert at something, you already know the resources it should reference: you read the Substacks, the blogs, the research papers and the news articles. You have the expertise, and the LLM’s have the ability to reference it and answer questions about it.
So… why not combine the two?
Our Solution
ScrollWise is a research repository that actually helps you use your research, not just store it. If you find a cool article, drop it into a ScrollWise Topic (more on topics in a second) and ask about it. ScrollWise combines your query with the articles you’ve read on the Topic and gives you an answer full of rich context relevant to you.
Let’s dive in deeper.
Organized by Topic
Create topic collections for your research areas. “AI Agents,” “Housing Policy,” “US Politics”, “Dance Music”—whatever you’re interested in. Every piece of content has a home.
Search Across Your Content
Use rich text search to find that tweet or article you saved weeks ago but just cannot find anymore.
Grounded Answers
Ask questions in ScrollWise Chat about your interests and research and get answers that cite your actual sources. No hallucinations. No made-up facts. Just your research, synthesized and queryable.
